Meet Tarka

Over the summer we had the wonderful and excitable Tarka stay with us. Despite being an old lad (don’t tell anyone, but he’s just turned 10!), he has endless energy and is constantly being confused for a puppy!

When his arthritis allows it, Tarka loves long walks. Doesn’t matter where as long as he has his mum, Julie’s, company. His favourite toy is called chicken, which is his trusted sidekick on all of his adventures.

Tarka hates when he finds his medicine inside a treat, admitting he’s older than he looks and being left at home alone.

He stayed at the Ramada Milton Keynes whilst visiting family in the area. It was a nice treat as he didn’t get told off for chasing his cat cousins in the night like last time! Tarka really liked that he got to share a room with his mum and there is a nice green area at the back of the hotel where he got to make some friends during his stay. Ruvini on reception was especially nice and showed us the best walks in the area to stretch our legs after a long drive. She also said he was the bestest boy, so he’s been carrying that around proudly ever since!

Tarka’s top tip for a good trip is to make sure there are lots of treats on hand! It’s only fair if you get ice cream, right?!
