Yogi the cat

Recently we had the pleasure of welcoming Yogi to one of our hotels. Yogi is a distinguished gentleman, who is rejuvenating before relocating for his golden years.

Yogi is true to his namesake in that he will happily raid a picnic basket for a snack or anything else for that matter! When not planning his next meal, he will happily dose in the sunshine dreaming of the day he finally catches the evil laser dot!

He dislikes early mornings (who wants to be up before the suns up?!), rainy weather that threatens to ruin his freshly groomed coat, and his eye drops.

Visiting the Days Inn Stevenage hotel with his assistant (read: foster carer) Emma, Yogi was here for both a business and leisure stay. He was in the area taking in the sites and even passed the bigger cats at Woburn Safari Park on his way over. The next day he was incredibly brave as he had a small veterinary procedure to look forward to, not that he let that dampen his spirit (or complaining about skipping breakfast)! Yogi very much enjoyed watching the birds out of his hotel window, how convinent it location-wise, and the Starbucks next door really helped keep his assistant on track.

Yogi highly recommends travelling with your favourite blanket, and bringing extra toys just in case. And whilst he may enjoy partaking in a little catnip once in a while to help him relax, he recommends checking the hotel policy on illicit substances before you travel (thankfully catnip is not on the naughty list).
