What are the rules?
Here is a quick summary of what we expect from our guests to ensure that our pet friendly hotels can be enjoyed by all of our guests.
- Only domestic pets are able to stay at the hotel. If you are unsure if your pet is suitable please contact the hotel.
- Only pets that have been added to your booking are permitted to stay with you during your stay. This can been done via the booking form, or you can reach out to the hotel to add this on to your stay.
- There is a limit of two pets per room, however you can contact the hotel directly to request more be added on. Just let them know the type, size and total amount of pets you wish to bring.
- Pets are not permitted in any restaurant or bar areas at any time.
- You must not leave animals unattended in any rooms or public areas at any time.
- Dogs must be kept on leads in public areas at all times.
- It is expected that guests tidy up after their pets, this includes but is not limited to the room, communal hotel areas and outside the hotel.
Please remember that we may also have guests who do not have pets, guests whose pets are anxious around other pets or that may be fearful of larger animals, so we ask you to be mindful around others and give them the space they need to feel comfortable during their stay.
Welcome Break Hotels reserve the right to charge a deep clean and/or maintenance fee on check out should this be required. If any of the rules above are not adhered to, the Hotels reserve the right to terminate the guests stay and decline future stays should this be deemed necessary. For a full list of requirements, please check your Booking Terms & Conditions. Welcome Break Hotels reserve the right to amend these from time to time following incidents and guest feedback.

How do I add my pet as a guest?
This is super easy, as part of your booking you can simply add them on as an extra (in the same place you'd add breakfast or an early check in).
You will be limited to adding two pets at the time of booking, but if you have more to bring please contact the hotel with details including how many animals you wish to bring, the type and size of the animals, and anything else that you think might be relevant. This is just to confirm that the room can accommodate everyone comfortably and that you can get out of the room easily in case of an emergency. Once confirmed the hotel will add the extra pets to your booking as required.

What do I need to bring with me?
Think of this as a checklist for a stress free trip.
Accessories
They are on holiday too, would you have them not looking fabulous?
On a serious note, you will be required to bring leads, harnesses, muzzles, cages, bedding, as appropriate for your specific animal. Please remember that we will likely have other pets staying with us so please ensure that you bring everything you need to keep them safe during their stay.
Food
Please make sure you bring your pets preferred food with you and appropriate feeding bowls. Due to the intricacies of animal nutrition we are unable to cater for your pet - even if they have a soft spot for a steak!
Toileting
If your pet is trained to go outside to do its' business, all we ask is for you to regularly take them out and make sure you clean up after them.
For pets that do not go outside/will not be going outside as part of their stay, we ask that you bring appropriate litter and trays to manage this. If you require a heavier duty bin bag to dispose of this post stay, please request one from hotel reception.
We do ask that if your pet goes in the room, a communal area of the hotel, or outside of the hotel, that you please clean this up. We appreciate that accidents do happen and that the mess can sometimes get out of hand, if this is the case and you are unable to clear away the mess yourself, please notify hotel reception. The hotel reserves the right to add on an additional cleaning charge should this be deemed necessary.
